Miss Virginia Kane cf Duke Uni versity spent the past week-end vis iting friends here. Mrs.. Eugene Fugitt and daughter Jean of Washington, Del., are spend ing a few days in town. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wicker and daughter Patsy of Harrisburgh, Pa., called on relatives in town Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. George R. Yates and Mr. Yates’ mother returned to their home in Squir.’-el Island, Maine Thursday following a stay of three months in Southern Pines. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Dayton of Brooklyn, N. Y., who have been guests at the Park View for several weeks, left Tuesday for Washington. Clement V. Wrenn and Harry Hen drix of State College, Raleigh spent the week-end in town. Mrs. Evelyn Baker of Beverley, Mass., is visiting friends here for a few days. Miss Iris Tate is ill at her home on Page street. Mrs. Adrian W. Graves is in Ashe ville visiting her sister who is ser iously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gage motored to Durham Tuesday where Mr. Gage will be a patient in Duke Hospital tor a few days.
