WOMAN’S CX)LLEOE Sixteen of the 1,790 students en rolled at the Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina for the fall semester are from Moore coun ty. Of the 100 counties of the state, 97 have representatives In the stu dent body, which is the largest in re cent years. Last year’s registration was 1,563, and the figure for the pre vious year was 1,382. Dr. W. C. Jack son is dean of administration of the Woman’s College. Howard Davis, white of Hemp, was given 30 days on the roads for drunken driving, to be suspended up on the payment of a fine of S50 and the costs, and his driver’s license was revoked for twelve months. Da vis gave notice cf appeal and bond was fixed at $200. G. C. Hunsucker, Jr., white of Hemp, was f^und guilty of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
