Hall, who was as- aigned to the Aberdeen-Vass charge for another year by the North Car olina Conference will preach in the Vass Methcdist Church at 11 o’clock this Sunday morning. The Rev, and Mrs. C. I. Calcote and children, Billy and Patricia, left Wednesday for Richmond, Va. to spend a few days. The revival services in the Vass Baptist church came to a close with the Sunday morning service. The Rev. P, W. Cowherd of Branchvllle, S. C. did the preaching. The agriculture department of Vass-Lakevlew high school will pre sent a three-act play, ‘‘Home Ties”, in December. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boggs and family cf Broadway visited Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Cox Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. George Koustenis and baby spent Sunday in Four Oakes with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Massengill.
