When the operator had filled the tank and was just starting to clean the wind- ,shield the driver threw in hig clutch, almost knocking the man down, and drove off. But not quicklv enough to prevent the license number being taken. Southern Pines police were notified, a call put in to Sanford ,and that’s as far as the pair got. When picked up in Sanford their car was found to contain guns and ammunition. The police are looking up their records. Their car bore an Orlando, Florida plate.
