Twenty years ago American soldiers marched homa from tlie war torn bat-
the fields of France. Peace echoed around the world. For twenty years w’e have
enenjoyed peace in America. And it is the hope and prayer of every veteran as
well as every citizen that Wonderful Peace may continue undisturbed.
These soldiers came home, however, conscious of a duty to perform, not
only to preserve the land, bijt those fine inherent values in our American sys
tem : To fight the ISMS which threatened the citadel of our democracy, and
which are enemies, not alone of our chilldren, but are the enemies of genera
tions of what we hope may be free men and women, yet unborn.
They came home to uphold and defend the constitution of the United States
