North Carolina Friday, December 2, 1988 Seaboard Has Best October Since 1930 Railroad’s Net Operating Reve nue for Month $103,941 Ahead of October, 1937 The net operating income for Oc tober of 1938 of the Seaboard Rail way amounted to $191,159, an in_ create of $103,941 over October of 1937 ani with one exception was higher than the net railway operat ing income for ai^ October since 1930. Total operating revenues for the month of October, 1938 amounted to $3,378,802, an increase of $19,012 or £7 percent over October 1937, and were higher than the same month of »ny year since 1930. Freight revenue amounted to $2,760,018, an increase of $89,7M or 3.36 over the same month last year, and was higher than freight revenues for October of any year sine* 1930.
