I'eturned home after spending the the Carthage Book Reviewers and! holidays with relatives in Green- gnests at a musical lea on Sunday afternoon at her home, “Edgehill.” The home was beautifully decorat ed with red poinsettas, white chry-, santhemuma, iyy and red csuidies. Miss Seawell had charge of the program. Instrumental solos .were rendered by Mrs. John Beasley and by Cecil Appleby of Wilmington. Vocal ^oHoists were Mrs. Walter Warfford, Mrs. M. G. Dalrymple, Mrs. It. W. Pleasants, Mrs. H. F. Seawell, Jr, and H. F. Seawell Jr., accompanied by Mrs. John Beasley and Miss Mildred Sinclair. Following the program the guests were invited into the dining room. Seated at the table Mrs. Charles T. Grier and Mrs. J L McGraw poured tea and coffee Miss Eula Blue as sisted the hostess in serving sand wiches, ice cream and cake. Those enjoying Miss SeaweU’s hospitality were Mr. and Mrs. H. F. The Rev. C. T. Calcote, pastor of the Vass Presby terian Church performed the cere mony. Mrs. Shaw wore a navy suit with Dubonnet accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of Talisman roses. They are at home with the bride groom’s mother near Cameron. Mr. Shaw is connected with the Moore County Mutual Exchange in Carth age. • Mrs. PleaHants Hostess Mrs. R. W.
