the former .Mennlith girl making

young pair, praising their ability.
Both magazines tell of the “Second

author, will be relea.sed in April.
The New Yorker gives a review
by Clifton Fadiman of “Fafan in
China," by Joe Loderer. This book
vas translated from the German by
Margaret Etounds. Mr. Fadiman sums
up his review b.v saying the chief
charm of the book is not its mela-

ground and lively translation.
The young pair after their mar

much of their time traveling from
coast to coast in search of material
for juvenile book.*!. They settled down
last svimmer in the Olmsted house
on Weymouth Heights for a busy
period of work, going to New York
later in the winter. They expect io
