Pinehurst Paragraphs 1914 One of the best known orchards in this vicinity is the Edgeview orchard set out by John Huttenhauer. It has 3,000 trees, Elbertas and Carmens. Mrs. Flank McCaskill and Mrs. C. E. Swaringen entertained the Senior class and a few friends at a dance at the Little Club Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Nel.son and chil- dren, Donald and Carolyn Ann, left by motor Saturday to visit friends and relatives in Massachusetts for two weeks before going to Little Compton, R. I., for the summer. Misses Carol and Olive Hennessee and Eloi.se Wicker have returned home from Woman's College, Greens boro. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis G. Kelly and children, Lewis. Jr.. Roma and Jackie have gone to Mahopac, N, Y., w'here Mr. Kelley has accepted a position as manager of the greenhouse. Charles Frye, who for several years has bet-n , at the greenhous here, has been pro moted to manager. The Community Church will hold the annual summer Bible School this year for two weeks, Mon#ay through Friday of each week, beginning June 17th. All children between the ages of five and 14 are given a cordial in vitation to attend. Miss Sara Gran tham of St. Paul will assist the Rev. and Mrs. McKeKvay and the names of all teachers and assistants with the general outline of study will be announced soon. Mrs. James Tufts is visiting rela tives in Glen Cove, L. I. Mr. Tufts is visiting friends in Carter.sville, Ga. George Eastman and Mr. Hairiman of the auditing firm of McManus- MarLeod of Boston have arrived and will be here for the month of June.
