Groves Passes Friends in Vass learned with deep sorrow of the passing of the Rev. A. J. Groves. 85, retired Methodist mmister of Sanford, who died in the Lee County Hospital in Sanford late Sunday afternoon after an illness of several weeks. Altliough he had never been con nected with the Vass Methodist church as pastor. Mr. Groves had pri?ached in Vass a number of times and had made inanv warm friends.
