Gamble, attached to the Employment Service Division of the War Manpower Commission in Char- - lotte, has recently been promoted to Supervisor of Placement in the Charlotte office. Y., was married Saturday afternoon in the chapel of the Fifth Avenue Pres byterian Church to Ensign Frederick Baily Dent, USNR, son of Mr. and Mrs. Magruder Dent of Greenwich, Conn., and Southern Pines. The cer emony was performed by Dr. John Sutherland Bonnell, Pastor of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Arthur Ketchum of St. Matthews Church, Bedford, New York. The wedding was followed by a reception at the Junior League. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of ivory satin, a rosepoint Juliet cap and a tulle veil bordered with rose- point lace. She carried a bouquet of white spray orchids and freesias.
