“This brief message is to thank my friends t
in Moore County and throughout the District |
who on Saturday past honored me with their I
vote for Congress.
I attempted to conduct a hard, aggressive,
II but fair campaign. Many good democrats |
voted for my worthy opponent and to these I
have honorable respect.
If elected in the November general elec
tion, I will go to Washington as the Representa
tive of our people absolutely free from any com
mitments to any group or organization.
Even now my services are at the disposal
of the people of this District.”
Sincerely yours,
C. B. Deane
