Cleveland. They recently sold the
Manor hotel to R. W. Schroder

M. C. Hufford, of Buffolo, who
will continue its operation dur
ing winter seasons.

to their cottage, the Chatham,
about the middle of September.

The Daily Vacation Bible
school at the Baptist church came
to a close last Friday after a two
weeks session. Mrs. John Morgan
was principal of the school, as
sisted by Mrs. A. A. Vanboskerck,
Rev. Ray Gosnell,
Mrs. D. M. Rollins, Mrs. H. R.
White, Mrs. Preston Brooks, Mrs.
Frank Tyner, Mrs. L. C. Murphy.
Mrs. Mittie Wallace. Miss Marion
Moore was in charge of the music
and acted as secretary and treas
urer. There were 76 enrolled and
an average daily attendance of
58. Each day the school was serv
ed refreshments, by groups and
individuals.
On Friday there was a picnic
at the church, Friday night was
parents’ night and a special pro
gram was presented. Everyone
was well pleased with the accom
plishment of the school.
