Miss Simpson graduated May 28 from the Vass-Lakeview school, with an excellent record. The oldest of six children, she has always helped at home and on the farm. As far back as she can remember, she has planned to be a trained nurse “some day.” The scholarship will help her attain her dream. Miss Mclnnis, a 1947 graduate of the Aberdeen High school, is also one of a large family, the youngest of seven. Jack Carter, exalted ruler of the local Elks lodge, and John Cline, past exalted ruler, will leave Saturday to attend the na tional BPOE convention at Port land, Ore., to which they will be official delegates of their home lodge.
