Page Ten THE PILOT—Southern Pines, North Carolina Friday, February 9. lil RokoKalais, Viennese Native, Buys Beauty Shop Roko Kalais, native of Vienna, has purchased the Dainty Lady Beauty shop and last week start ed operation of the shop under its new name, ‘‘‘Roko’s Beauty Soflon.” Mr. Kalais comes to Southern Pines from Greensboro, where he has been employed in the beauty shops of Meyers and Belks de partment stores. He was also for some time with the Victor Feran- telli salon on Fifth avenue at 57th street. New YYork. TJ. S. Army Engineering Corps during World War 2, in both this country amd northern Africa. Mr. Kalais specialized in per sonal hair styling, and all wanted beauty services rendered accord ing to the most modern European and American methods. He is married to an American girl, who will serve as manager of the shop. They have a five- year old son, Danny. Mrs. Charles (Dot Jordan) Gou- ger, proprietir of the Dainty Lady shop for the past two years, has moved from the apartment she oc cupied in the rear of the shop and is living at the Jefferson Inn Her plans, she said, are indefin ite though she expects to remain in Southern Pines.
