Fairgoers Awarded
Scale Model Trucks
Six Moore County people, in
cluding children and adults, were
among the 54 winners of scale
model trucks given by the N. C
Motor Carriers association in con
nection with its safety exhibit at
six North Carolina fairs.
Trucks were mailed from Ra
leigh this week to Polly Maples
of Southern Pines, John A. Lang,
3rd, and Judy Womack of Carth
age, Henry Borst of Vass, Mrs.
Ralph Steed of Robbins and Mrs,
Vivien Tucker of West End.
The names were announced by
I. T. Outlaw, executive secretary
of the N. C. Motor Carriers associ.
ation at Raleigh.
The safety exhibit was one of
the prime attractions at the Moore
ounty fair, held the week of Oc-
