A superb cast has been assembled for this lavish sea spectacle, including Spencer Tracy as Captain Jones; Gene Tierney as Dorothy Brad ford; Leo Genn as Governor Brad ford; Van Johnson as John Alden, and Dawn Addams as Priscill? Mullins. This is Dore Schary’s personal production, possibly the best film ever made about the founding fathers of America, and certainly one of the finer pictures of the year. The characterizations are of genuine people reacting in a thoroughly human way to a high ly dramatic situation. Director Brown has achieved perfect bal ance of the exciting, realistic ad venture episodes and interwoven moments of romance. All are pho tographed in glorious Technicolor. custody of two of the minor chil dren, to-wit, Charles Edward Dut ton and Ruby Faye Dutton; and the defendant will further take notice that he is required to ap pear at the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Moore County, in the courthouse in Car thage, North Carolina, within twenty (20) days after the 9th day of January, 1953, Md answer or demur to the complaint in said ac tion, or the plaintiff will apply to the Court for the relief demanded in said complaint This 8th day of December, 1952.
