NOVEMBER 27. 1953 PMA Name Now Changed To ASC The name of the former Moore County Production and Marketing Administration (PMA) Committee has been changed, following a nation-wide change, to the Agri cultural Stabilization and Conser vation (ASC) Committee. Change of name does not change the duties of the agency. The new name was announced recently by the Agriculture De partment in aWshington. Joe A. Caddell is chairman of the Moore County ASC Committee. Walter I. Fields is secretary. The agency administers acreage allotment, agricultural conservation and oth er Federal farm programs.
