BELLOWS & COMPANY BALTIMORE • MARYLAND 60% GRAIN NEUTRAL SPIRITS • 40% STRAIGHT WHISKIES • 86.8 PROOF Area Men Facing Liqnor Charges Something new, something en tirely different, and something thoroughly delightful comes to the Carolina Screen in “Mr. Potts Goes To Moscow,” Sunday through Wednesday, April 4-7, at 8:15 p. m. with matinees Sunday and Tuesday at 3. Starring the British comedian, George Cole, assisted by Nadia Gray and Oscar Homolka (remem ber him in “I Remember Mama”?) and a long list of supporting ac tors, Mr. Potts Goes To Moscow,” is a hilarious story of a British plumber who is mistaken by the Re ds for a top atomic scientist and whisked to Moscow, it packs so many hilarious situations that much of the dialogue is almost drowned out. The writers have spared the feelings of neither British, American nor Russian. First British officialdom gets its share; then everything dear to the Communists is ribbed. There 'are many hilarious inci dents in the script cooked up by the authors such as the dinner at the Kremlin and the Red- sponsored Peace Conference breaking into a free-for-all at the slightest provocation, and through it all marches Cole, undeterred, thoroughly British and always slightly confused by the train of events which alternately rnakes fools out of the Russians and his own countrymen. Children’s Day Four men of the Jackson Springs area face trial in Federal court at Rockingham for opera ting a 60-gallon illegal whiskey still that was raided by Moore County officers last week. The still was hidden in the woods up the creek from, the old Currie mill on the Currie estate property. Chief ABC Officer C. A. McCal- lum, ABC Officers John K. Sharpe and Keith Marks and Dep uty Sheriff A. W. Lambert took part in the raid. Officers confis cated a farm tractor and an at tached trailer on which three of the men rode up to the still site while the raid was in progress. One had been, apprehended pre viously at the still.
