RECREATION EQUIPMENT for the girls of Samarcand is
presented by N. L. Hodgkins, of Southern Pines, president of the
SandhiUs Kiwanis Club, to Miss Reva Mitchell, superintendent,
on a visit paid by the club to the training school for girls, near
Eagle Springs, on their regular meeting day last week. The ar
ticles presented included athletic equipment and games. At right
