Officially Joins
Class A Conference
Southern Pines High School has
officially joined the Cape Fear
Class A football conference, school
officials have reported after a
meeting held recently in St. Pauls.
There is still nothing definite by
way of a 1957 schedule, since offi-
ci^ds of several schools in the con
ference were not present at the
^meeting. Those arrangements,
which will see Southern Pines
play 11-man football lor the first
time, are expected to be complet
ed shortly.

nitan, Hope Mills, Shallotte, Chad-
