In addi tion to Mrs. Wolfe and the chil dren, those from the Vass Baptist Church who attended the gradu ating exercises were: Mr. and Mrs. Lacy McRae, Mrs. Hilda Parker, Mrs. Thurlow Evans, Mr. and’ Mrs. Sam Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Carlie Trogden, Mrs. Dwight Rollins, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ferguson, and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper. Other friends at tending were the Rev. and Mrs. D. Hoke Coon of Southern Pines, the Rev. and Mrs. Eugene Deese of Aberdeen, and the Rev. and Mrs. E. T. Parham of Robbins. Birthday Skipper Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parker entertained at a family birthday supper at their home Saturday night for her sister. Miss Evelyn Stewart of Cameron. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Matthews of Cameron and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rambeaut of Sanford. Dinner Guests Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Evans were hosts at a duck dinner at their home on Lobelia Road Sun day. Guests were the Rev. and Mrs. Thomas Wolfe and daugh ters, Karen and Cathy, Mr. and Mrs. Thimlow Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Evans, and Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Autry. Out of Hospital Mrs. W. H. Keith returned home last weekend after receiv ing treatment for influenza at Lee Coimty Hospital in Sanford for a week. She is getting along nicely. Her daughter, Mrs. Steve Mallard, of Wallace visited her during the weekend, and her son Horton Keith of Norfolk, Va., death of year-old daughter James E. with his daughter Becky and son. his grandniece, two- Andrea Sue Low, of Capt. and Mrs. Low of Vacaville. Calif., and granddaughter of Cameron McLean of Greensboro. Andrea Sue died after an illness of only a few hours. Mrs. Low, the former Edith McLean, whose husband is sta tioned at Travis AFB in Califor nia, was stricken with polio a few months ago, and their two small children were staying with Captain Low’s parents at Marga- retsvUle, N. Y., because of the mother’s' condition. The parents flew to New York for the funeral service. Personals Miss Mary Ruth Clark, a mem ber of the faculty of Catawba College at Salisbury, and mother, Mrs. Margaret Clark, visited homefolk here last weekend. Mrs. Mack Callahan, who is now a registered practical nurse, began working at St. Joseph’s Hospital last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. James Yovt and children, Teresa and Sherry, of Albemarle spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Mack CaUahan. Johnny Morgan and son, Bobby, of Pinebluff visited George Morgan and the D. F. Camerons Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Elmer Cameron became ill Monday and was taken to Moore County Hospital for treat ment. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Crissman and Mrs. A. G. Crissman of Vass and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Culler of Southern Pines joined Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Culler at their home in Manly Sunday evening for a chicken and dumpling supper, with Mrs. A. G. Crissman, the mother and grandmother of the group, in charge of the prepara- Sunday afternoon.
