of Commerce here wants to get
in touch with someone who
bought a license plate last week.
Mrs. S. D. Fobes, who manages
the bureau, said that through
some oversight, the sections of
two applications have disappear
ed and she needs the information
for her records.
Whoever bought licenses
,“ZP 9925” and “ZP 9926” would
be doing her a great favor by
dropping by the bureau and sup
plying her with the needed in
formation.
Heart Disease Is
Climbing, State
Health Man Says
While tuberculosis in North
Carolina is rapidly receding,
heart disease is climbing. Dr. J.
W. R. Norton, State Health Offi
cer, told members of the Sand
hills Kiwanis Club on Wednes
day at a meeting devoted to
health on the eve of Heart Sun
day. The Kiwanians met in the
new First Baptist Church in
Aberdeen. \
Dr. Norton gave statistics
showing the rise and fall of dis
eases in the state, and told what
is being done to curb them.
He was presented to the club
by Gen. R. B. Hill of Southern
Pines. Members were taken on a
tour of the new church following
the luncheon and program.
