T
X HE very foundation of progress for any town rests on one
very simple fact — the appearance of the town.
An unkempt, dirty, careless-looking community never devel
ops. But, a town with a "clean face" becomes a proud, progres
sive town. It attracts citizens with self-respect, character and a tal
ent for getting things done. That brings better living and more
prosperity to the whole community and the rural area it serves.
So look at your town with a critical eye — refresh your mind
with a new picture of it, as on outsider would see it. Then, if it
doesn't measure ui5, you con star! doing something about it right
now. Your Finer Carolina Committee will welcome your sug
gestions on how to make your town <me oi Carolinas' Filled |
