Members of the club hold a periodic sales convention, the next to be held at Havana. Cuba. Daniel A. Maness \ Gets Prison Term Daniel A. Maness, 27, whose address was listed as Carthage in a news story from Lexington, Ky., was one of six persons sen tenced in U. S. District Court there last Friday for robbery of a, branch bank at Corbin, Ky. The sentences for Maness and others were 25 years for robbery and five years for conspiracy, the two terms to run concurrently. All pleaded guilty. A total of $13,942 was taken in the robbery. Miss Carol Foster was leader, and the topic was “Pray and Work.” The following took part: Mrs. Cranford Allred, whose sub ject was ‘Work Without Ceasing”; Bill' Priester, ‘Work Toward a Goal”; and Roy Frye, “Work To gether With God.” Tlurty young people, leaders and guests attended. WSCS Meets The Methodist Woman’s Socie ty of Christian Service met in the fellowship hall last week with Mrs. J. M. Davis and Miss Ethel Davis as hostesses. Mrs. R. R. After the Key West convention, they did a lot of fishing at various places along the coast, including Cape Canaveral, and stopped in Orlando to visit another brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Keith. Mrs Henry Klingenschmidt and children, Carol and Al, and her mother, Mrs. John Baker of Route 1, Cameron, spent Satur day in Fayetteville. Miss Kay Keith of Ramseur spent the weekend with her pa rents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Keith. She had as her guest Miss Mar tha Brady of Coleridge. Miss Myrtle Jane Trivette of Cameron was a Sunday dinner guest of Miss Doreene Keith. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Frye of Greensboro visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Frye and Mrs. Bryden Baldwin, last weekend. Mrs. A. M.
