Vass Man Finds
People Are Honest
Buster Cameron of Vass was
pretty much put out recently
while shopping, in Aberdeen
when he reached for his wallet
and found that it was missing.
■To make it doubly bad, he had
just had his pay check cashed
before leaving V'ass.
He hurried back to Hudson’s
Service Station where the check
had been cashed and with James
Hudson, the proprietor, made a
mental check of people who were
there at the time, hoping one of
them had found it.
They made inquiry of “Woot-
sy” McCrimmon, colored, who
had been there and through his
honesty Cameron was united with
his cash. McCrimmon had found
the pocketbook after Cameron
had driven off, had hunted, up
Chief A. R. Laubscher and had
gone with him to Cameron’s
home trying to find him' to re
turn the wallet. He was reward
ed with a gift of cash and warm
thanks. '
