Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Poole are spending some time at Mrs. Poole’s home in Reidsville. Lewis Harris, Howard Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Har ris and son Mike, Etccompanied by Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Parks, spent Sunday in Chapel Hill, guests of Dr. and Mrs. P. F. Har ris. Miss Barbara Brown was in Raleigh last Thursday and Fri day for the Fulghum-Pressly wedding which took place Fri day afternoon in the First Pres byterian Church in that city. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Seawell and children' and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Jones and chil dren of Bennett, Mr, and Mrs. Ed Kirkman and family and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. 'Vickery and fam ily of Pleasant Garden. They en joyed a picnic at the lake. Dr. and Mrs. W. C. Neill and childien will arrive tonight from Helena, Ark., and will be over night guests of Mrs. Neill’s moth er, Mrs. Alonzo Blue. They will go to Aberdeen Friday to move into the manse. They plan to go to Roanoke, Va., for the week end with his mother, Mrs. Mar tha Cox Neill. Miss Margaret Kelly, who is employed by Pinehurst, Inc., is vacationing at home this week. Miss Barbara Poole, librarian at Donaldson Air Force Base, Greenville. S.C., spent Friday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Poole. On Saturday morn ing she boarded a military plane at Pope Field for San Francisco, Calif., where she is attending the American Library Association convention, representing the Mil itary Air Transport Command. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Stewart, who have been vacationing here for two weeks, and in Wilming ton with Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Wal lace and Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Wal lace, Jr., for the past week, re turned to their home in Wash ington, D. C. Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Wright of Gasburg, Va., spent last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Wallace. Mr. and Mrs. Murd K. Prevost and children visited relatives in Asheboro Sunday. Mrs. N. W. McKay and sons, Neill and Orren, of Greensboro spent last Sunday with her moth er, Mrs. Sadie K. Wall. Orren re mained for a week’s visit witn his grandmother. Mrs. F. H. Upchurch and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hunsucker and children. Tommy and Elizabeth, of Robbins were Thursday visit ors of Mrs. D. H. Parks. Mrs. N. A. MacLeod and Mrs. Currie Horne left yesterday for Montreat where they will be for a week attending the Woman’s Training School, as delegates from the Carthage Presbyterian Church. Mr. and Mrs. John Barnes and son, Gregory, of Greensboro, were here over Sunday with Solicitor and Mrs. M. G. Boyette, and Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Barnes. Mrs. Young Allen and daughter, Pamela, of Lumberton spent last week with her paients, Mr. and Mrs. Boyette, while Mr. Allen was attending summer school at the University. C. C. Wallace, Jr., and C.
