A tract of land comprising 3.2 acres was leased for $500 per year from Robert Chappell and wife, Eleanor, in Mineral Springs township. The Civil Aeronautics Administration, which controls air flight in thuis country, ap pears from the lease to be thp agency which will utilize the land. The l^ase has a lO-y ear option feature. The government reserves the right to esiablish and main tain beacon lights and other lighting equipment, radio, and other facilities and equipment for communication and signalling, and for purposes of guidance and operation of aircraft. Other restrictions in the lease gives the government the right to grade, condition, install drainage facilities, seed the soil and re move obstructions. . . which may constitute an obstruction. . . to the operation of aircraft or to the establishment and maintenance of air navigation facilities. . The government als j reserves the right to replace metal roofs on nearby buildings with compo sition roofs, and cut down trees within a 200-foot radius if they should appear to be a menace to aircraft using the property. County Delegation At Jehovah’s Witness Assembly A missionary delegation from this county attended the Jehovah’s Witnesses Fayetteville Circuit Assembly in Fayettpville last weekend. < Featured at the assembly was L. E. Reusch, district supervisor of New York, who spoke on the “Watchtower Society in God’s Purpose.” There was also a model minis try school for instruction of those attending, and an ordination set- vice for 31 new ministers, which was conducted by Mr. Reusch.
