The trip was made under the supervision 6f Mrs. William Bo- dine, den mother. The Scout's, together with a guest, Ronnie Bradley, learned how trees were split into lumber and the leftover slabs made into chips for eventual use by pulp companies. . The firm is owned by Don Traylor, Southern Pines lumber man. Making the trip were Charles Buchholz, Albert Hurst, Jay Montesanti, Steve Kelly and Bil ly Bodine.
