Visits Moore Co,
The Home Demonstration
Room in the Carthage court
house was the meeting-place, this:
Monday, of eight 4-H Clubbers
from this county, joining, with a
study team headed by Assistant
State 4-H Club leader Dan Hol
ler.
Mr. Holler had brought five
young people to Moore County
as the first county in the eight
that this team expects to visit.
At each stopping-place—and they
will spend around a day, or day
and night in each locality—the
team will meet with local 4-H
members to give them advice and
help on their local projects.
One of the team is a Moore
County girl, Jane Owens of Rob
bins, winner in last year’s state
contest. The others come from
Duplin, Columbus, and Anson
counties, two from the last.
Meeting with the young people,
besides Mr. Holler, was Miss
Flora McDonald, Home Demon
stration Agent, and Moore Coun
ty’s two 4-H leaders, Mrs. Nancy
Currie and Thomas Hall.
