were submitted, whose names do
not appear on this list, were de
termined to be ineligible to hold
office a’s a committeeman in the
community for which they were
nominated.
Eligible to vote is any person
who has an interest on a farm as
owner, operator, teneint or share
cropper.
Farm programs which are ad
ministered by the ASC committee
include: soil bank, agricultural
conservation, price support, stor
age facility loans, acreage allot
ments and marketing quotas on
tobacco, cotton, wheat and pea
nuts.
The committeemen see to it
that these national programs are
properly adapted to conditions in
Moore County and to each farm.
