SELL YOUR HOUSE
ONLY THROUGH A
REALTOR
HE IS PLEDGED TO PROTECT YOUR INTERESTS
Don’t take a chance on what may be the most important
financial transaction your family may ever undertake!
When it comes to real estate, the wisest decision you
can make' is to consult a broker entitled to call himself
a REALTOR—one accepted for membership in the
local real estate board and the National Association of
Real Estate Boards.
Why?
A Realtor knows today’s market. He handles hundreds
of similar transactions. He can get you a fair price,
quick sale.
A Realtor has a list of prospects who are honestly in
terested in finding a home. He shows by appointment,
eliminating the stream of casual lookers who otherwise
would troop through your house.
A Realtor screens out the prospects who are financially
unable to meet your price. No wasting valuable time
showing your home to those unqualified to buy.
A Realtor is prepared to arrange the intricacies of
financing to complete the deal.
A Realtor has the technique and “know how” necessary
to close the transaction properly. *

said they had first noticed its con
dition as daylight broke, and had
brought it directly to the hospit
al.
However, the autopsy report
m.ade Tuesday by the hospital
pathologist. Dr. P. P. Greene, gave
his opinion that the child had been
dead for many hours. He said the
death, apparently caused by
smothering, had occurred no later
than 4 or 5 p.m. Saturday, possi
bly as early as Saturday noon.
Hardin had signed the autopsy
permit, saying he know no reason
for the baby’s death, and wished
to know.
He told Deputy Sheriff J. A.
Lawrence that they had left his
wife’s .parents’ home in Orrum at
8 p.m. Saturday with their four
children, including the infsint
Tony, who seemed to be all right
then. The father said he slept on
the back seat while his wife
drove, with the baby wrapped in
a quilt beside her, and that he
woke in the night to find the car
not moving as it had broken down.
He got it started again and they
drove on, reaching Moore County
about daybreak via NC 211. The
rum to Pinehurst is about 75
miles, which took them 10 hours.
The Hardins left Sunday after
noon to return to Robeson Coun
ty, where graveside services were
held Tuesday afternoon for the
baby.
Deputy Sheriff J. A. Lawrence
said the cooperation of Robeson
County officers had been secured
for investigation of the case, and
the parents would be questioned
further on the circumstances of
the baby’s death.
He said that, while no law vio
lation might be involved in the
actual death, it is a violation not
to report such a death, also to
transport a dead body across coun
ty lines withoutMue notice to and
permission from the proper au
thorities.

COLON. NORTH CAROLINA
To The Democrat Voters of Moore County
After long consideration I have entered my name as a Candidate for
County Commissioner District No. 1 subject to the Democratic Primary
election May 28, 1960.
I have had no political experience in county government, but as a citi
zen of Moore County I have a great interest in the welfare of our county,
especially in better schools.
I would like for the boys and girls of Moore County to have the best
education facilities that we can give them.
After studying our present school system and the proposed Super High
School program endorsed by our County School Board of Education and
our County Superintendent of Schools, I am very much in favor of Super
High Schools where needed and wanted by the people.
If elected I shall endeavor to serve all the citizens of Moore County
impartially on all matters ruled upon by the County Commissioners office.
Your vote and influence will be greatly appreciated.
