THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 1962 THE PILOT—Southern Pines, North Carolina Tag Team Match, Two Other Bouts Set Here Saturday Professional wrestling will come to Southern Pines Satur day night with a three-event pro gram to begin at 8:15 p. m. in the National Guard Armory on Mor- ganton Road. There will be a 4-man tag team event featuring John Smith and Ivan Kameroff versus Don Curtis and Joe Scarpa. In a girls’ match, Penny Ban ner, wife of wrestler Johnny Wil son of Indianapolis, Ind., is pitted against Mrs. Poncho Villa of Lar edo, Texas. Taking part in the special! opening bout will be Firpo Zyb- sko of St. Paul, Minn., and John ny Heidman of New York City. All six of the men wrestlers top 225 pounds each in weight. The tag match will be two out of three falls, with a one hour time limit. A 45-minute time limit is set on the girls who will also go for two out of three falls. The opening match will be one fall with a 30 minute time limit. Arthur Godfrey says: “For more than just dry cleaning... Sanitone!” go New Sales Wing Formed By CP&L A new sales wing designed to assist customers in special appli cations of electric service has been formed by Carolina Power & Light Ccjmpany. The new Special Services Sec tion was formed “in response to growing specialization of electric usage, particularly in the field of heating and cooling, commercial cooking and in appliance serv ice.” The section is manned by vete rans in CP&L’s sales department: R. Stewart Martin, Coy C. Jor dan, and J. Phil Stone. A. W. Futrell, Jr., former as sociate professor at N. C. State College, will coordinate tne new unit’s activities in the entire two- state service area.
