The Southern Pines five also walked away with high honors among all the teams competing in the Traveling League. Robin Grover rolled a 221 for high game of the day and finished with a 510 series. Teddy Nanopoulos followed with 204 high and a 505 series. Ronnie Bradley rolled a 484 series, Chuck Frye a 387 and Danny Crowley finished with a 479. Southern Pines won 26 points out of a possible 28. On April 6, the local Juniors will bowl in Rockingham. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Inman Flinchum; his father, John Thomas Flinchum of Carth age; five brothers, Alex, Joel, Robert, Brady and Emery Thomas Flinchum, all of Carthage; three sisters, Mrs. Wiley Purvis of High Falls, Mrs. H. B. Brady of Car thage nd Mrs. D. J. Hicks of Carthage; and three grandchil dren. Funeral services were held Sun day at the Calvary Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Bennie Maness.
