Extra showings of the program will be offered on Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and days at 2, 3 and»4 and 8:30 p. m. The program will alsof be pre sented on Palm Sunday at 2, 3, and 4 and 8:30; Good Friday at 11 a. m., 3 and 8:30 p. m.; Easter and Easter Monday at 3, 4 and 8:30 p. m.; and Easter Monday at 3, 4 and 8:30 p. m. . Open sons have seen “Easter The Awakening.” The second half of the pro gram; the visual pageant of the betrayal, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection of Christ, portray ing the Scriptures, has not been changed, the first half of the program, which last year was de voted to an explanation of the wandering date of Easter, this year is concerned with a descrip tion of Biblical references to the science of astronomy. The celestial part of the pro gram concludes with a short his tory of the date of Easter, and an explanation why Easter falis when it does. ‘Easter The Awakening” will be presented every evening of the week at 8:30; Saturdays at 11 a. m., 3, 4 and 8:30 p. m.; and Sun- hours are 2-5 p. m. and 7:30-10 p. m. daily; 10 a. m. to 10 p. m. on Saturdays; and 1-10 p. m. on Sundays. AIDING HANDICAPPED Clothing To Be Collected For Training Work Students of Moore County, Pinehurst, Southern Pines and St. Anthony’s Catholic Schools will participate in a drive on March 29, 1963 to collect donations of used clothing, shoes, toys, rags (and small appliances for the Goodwill Industries in Winston- Salem, to make available voca tional training and jobs for many blind, crippled and handicapped persons from over North Caro lina. Students from the schools will accept donations of clothing to fill their "goodwill bags.” Goodwill Industries is a char itable, non-profit agency which gives jobs and vocational train ing to 140 handicapped persons each day. These handicapped persons launder, clean, repair and sell the used clothing, shoes, toys and other donations. The handicapped persons represent many of the counties of North Carolina. Home Demonstration Club News Holly Grove Club The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Walter Poley. Flor ence and Susan McCaskill and Virginia Dale Harris attended. Miss Flora McDonald gave the lesson on, “How to Put in a Gus set.” A sale was held with a gooa profit. Many books are being read by the members during the bad wea ther. A social hour was enjoyed. Scripture was read by Mrs. Williams, Miss Flora McDonald gave a very interesting lesson on “How to Put in a Gusset.” Minutes and roll call were giv en by Mrs. Lynn Martin, with 17 members present. We were glad to have Mrs. Lessie Wil liams to meet with us. Mrs. Frank Blake was in charge of the recreation, with Mrs. Lynn Martin the winner of the game. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Roy Williams and Mrs. Bob by Caddell. The April meeting will be in the home of Mrs. Herbert Dost.
