Several West Southern Pines boys appeared in Southern Pines Recorder’s Court, at the regular Wednesday session last week, charged with breaking and enter ing or larceny or both. The cases were disposed of as follows by Judge W. Harry Ful- lenwider Olander McNeill, 16, charged with one case of breaking and entering and larceny (at the Town Hill Club), larceny of a record player from the West Southern Pines School and lar ceny of a bicycle, was sentenced to serve six months at the county jail in Carthage, to work in and around the jail. A six months sen tence was given in each of the three cases, to run concurrently. Walter Sloan, and John AUen McNeill, both 18, also charged in connection with the Town Hill Club break-in—when beer, ciga rettes and various food items were taken—were each found not guilty. Both were on probation from former convictions and re main on probation. Ronnie Douglas, 16, also charg ed with breaking and entering was found guilty and was sen tenced to Morrison Training School, for a 15-months term. The case of another boy, who was found to be under 16 years of age was remanded to Juvenile Judge C. C. Kennedy, clerk of court at Carthage. Names of juve nile defendants are not published. Here is a summary of other cases heard last week: Ralph Larry Dull, assault, nol pros with leave; Ruth Lloyd Quick, Taylortown, Pinehurst, obtaining money by false pre tense, probable cause found, de fendant bound over to Superior Court, bond set at $750; Billy Ray Wicker, Route 2, Sanford, speed- I ing 65 in 55 zone, $10 and costs; James Isaac Hiatt, Route -1, San ford, speeding 65 in 55 zone, $10 and costs; Ivey Irvin Hall, Jr., speeding 70 in 45 zone, driving after license had been suspended, defendant moved for a jury trial, bond set at $400; RaUow Hershel Hughes, speeding 50 in 35 zone prayer for judgment continued on payment of costs; Tivis Wed- dington Crum, drunken driving, $100 and costs, driver’s license to be surrendered for revocation. Nancy Shaw Monroe, Pine hurst, failure to report as driver of vehicle involved in accident, $10 and costs; Johnny Myers, Route 1, Sanford, larceny, nol pros with leave; Willie Doyle Shuler, Orangeburg, S.
