Dawn Golfer
As a correction to last week’s
article under the above caption,
it now turns out that your re
porter was in error as to who
gave the lesson. It wasn’t the
I lady in question who received the
I golf lesson, but the ex-pro whom
she took in tow and showed a
few tricks. Your reporter learns
there is a possibility of a return
j match. It is also rumored that
hot coffee will be carried for the
consumption of the players and
the large gallery expected. The
vogue of early morning golf
seems to be catching on, and new
golf carts (Jackie Gleason style)
that carry hot coffee and sand
wiches may have to be put into
use.
Museums and restorations in
Great Smokies Park relate the
history of the area’s early set
tlers, and the Park interpretive
program features conducted na
ture walks and illustrated lec
tures to help visitors understand
the Great Smokies’ flora, fauna
and geology.
