The Johnston County Alliance.
The Johnston County Alliance mot
in regular session in the Court house
in Smlthfield on Saturdy, April 10th,
1909. The meeting was called to
order by the President, F. C. Edger
ton and the usual business was tran
sacted, after which subjects of great
interest were discussed freely by
Moses Creech, J. E. Pitman, R. W.
Crumpler, F. C. Edgerton and sever
al others. Owing to the busy sea
son there was not as many present
as we hoped to see, but the Sabs
were very well represented and the
reports show that the Alliance id
in good shape in the county and the
indications are that the order will
be much stronger in the near future.
We are living in a day of organiza
tion and all classes see the need of
organization as they have never seen
it before. We hope that at our July
meeting we will have a large crowd
present as there will be business of
great Importance to attend to. Broth
er Farmer, will you take hold and
go with us on to victory?
