Little Hubert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Razzie Massengill, of Four Oaks, N. C., died June 2nd, 1911, being 1 year, 9 months and 13 days old. Hu bert was a sweet little child, and was loved by all who knew him. All that medical aid and tender nursing could do was done, but to no avail. He was laid to rest in the new ceme tery at his grand-father's, Mr. W. B. Massengill, to await the coming of our dear Lord. The family has the entire sympathy of all. They mourn, but not as others that have no hope, for they know as one wri ter says, that he will come again from the land of the enemy. May It be the hnppy lot of the writer and our readers to meet little Hubert on the earth made new. (See 2nd , Peter, 3:13.) When he will be made Immortal to die no more. He shall sleep but not forever. There will be a glorious dawn; We shall meet Hubert to part, no never, In the Resurrection Morn. For says Job: As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decay cth and drieth up, so man Ueth down, and riseth not. Till the hea vens be no more, they shall not bo awoke nor be raised out of their Bleep. Oh that thou would'st hide tne In the grave, that thou would'st keep me secret until thy wrath be past; that thou would'st appoint me a set time, and remember me. If a man die shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change comes. Thou ?hall call and I will answer thee. Chapter 14: 11-15. So we can say with John: Come Lord Jesus and come quickly. J. Q. RAKER.
