We are glad to welcome Mr. Rose and family into our midst. We regret to note the sad death of Mrs. W. Denning. The burial service was conducted near Clayton. Mrs. A. M. All the ladies of the community are in vited and urged to attend the service. Rev. Mr. Long, from Cedar town, Ga.. preached a fine ser mon on Sunday night at Oak land. Ellis was completely destroyed by fire on Wednesday afternoon about two o'clock. Mr. Ellis was fortunate to save his furniture. There was no Insurance on the house.
