We are glad that little Miss Ozell Evans is able to be out again after being on the sick list last week. Parker of Gran tham high school took his sci ence class through Goldsboro Thursday sight-seeing. Some of the places visited were as follows: Borden Brick and Tile Co.: Ice Factory. Mavis Bottling Plant, machine shop. They also stopped at the negro asylum about a mile out from Goldsboro. The intermediate class No. 8 of Falun" Creek Sunday school met at Miss Lila Mae Stevens' home Wednesday night for their regular monthly meeting. Those present were as follows: Misses Mildred and Maude Hollowell, Maggie Price, Doris Grantham, Mildred Sasser and Minnie Mo ingo. The Woman's club of this community gave a musical en tertainment. at the school build ing Friday .night. The Hawaiian guitars were played by "Hank and si " Grantham played Seven Springs bo'.h boys end gills in basket ball games Thursday night, in ilu gymnasium hall at Goldsboro'.
