One of the greatest deeds of hero
ism we ever read about is recorded

was Captain J. W. Whiteley. who

in oar city he made a host of friends
who are proud of him.

He asserted that Duke. Ryan aad
other associates made $100,000,000

other tobacco companies were
merged into the Consolidated.

per cent, of the stockholders of the
