No doubt, the European Tea
Party, given bv the voung ladies
of the town, at the residence of Mr.
Graham Guilford, on Friday night
last was the mostsuccessful festival
affair of the season. The bill of fare,
written in foreign and fictitious
languages, was a puzzle to the un
derstanding and digestive organs of
all present. There was a big choco
late cake for the prettiest girl pres
ent.and this was decided by the old
reliable, Australian Ballot. System.
With this the financial features of
the party ctosed.and affairs assumed
a social nature, which were hugely
enjoyed bv all present -there being
games and music of such variety as
to appeal to the taste of everybody.
The young people of the town are
indebted to Mr. and Mrs. Guilford
for the kindness and consideration
they received,and the Rohetsomrille
High School Fund, begs to ac
, knowledge receipt ot twenty-five
dollars, with thanks.
