A number ol leading citizens of the town met Friday night to dis cuss the graded school question, but as the meeting had not been sufficntly advertised, it was decided to postpone action till another meeting. The statement of the Bank of Martin County for the year ending Feb. 1903 is a most creditable one. The increase in business shows the confidence of the "public and the splendid management on the part the bank officials. The people are to be corgratulated upon having such a safe depository for funds. 11 Mr. Roger Critcher is preparing to erect a saw mill on the site of the old brick ki!n near the railroad. Mr. Critcher is an experienced mill mr.n and is to be congratulated for his enterprise.' The town is in need of a mill closely situated, and the one in project will be able to sup ply the demand for lumber. \V e learn that Rev. B. S. Lassi ter will accept the rectorship of the Episcopal Churches at JPljm out and Williamston and that he will be succeeded here by the Rev. B. M. Bradin, of Johnson City. Tenn. He will make Windsor his home and is expected in two weeks. His work will embrace Btr ' tie and Hertford counties.
