P Friday, March. *9. tQ°7 In the write up of the court pro ceedings last week there was a very (rtvious mistake made in the Judge's charge to the jury. Not being able to attend the openiug session of court we missed hearing the charge. Wanting to give a synopsys of the charge we asked one of the members of the bar to furnish it for us, this he agreed to do. Later he banded in the article that was published. We were ignorant of the fact that it was not what the judge charged until afte: the paper had been mailed. In conversation with Judge Biggs before he left town said that he had nothing to say in his charge about the origin of the grand jury, but confined himself almost exclusive ly to the duties of the grand jury We are very sorry that such an error should occur It is not our intention to misquote any man. We apologize to Judge Biggs, for misquoting him. and to oui readers for publishing something that was not true.
