Mr. Editor:—
Pleased allow me space
in your valued paper to say to the
voters of Martin County that I wish
to call their attention to the fact
that though my announcement
failed to appear in the last issue of
THE ENTERPR ISE, I have not with
drawn nor have any intention of
doing so.
I wish to' say further that I

voter and talk with him, but us
that is impossible for me to do, I
have some spare time and will be
glad to go to any school house or
any other place in the Coun
ty abd discuss the needs of the
people. I shall not be able to set
all now, but hope to meet them on
September 4th, and let us have a
harmonious convention. Any com

go and speak if they will name the
time and place.
Yours respectfully,
A. COREY.

For the Legislature
Mr. Editor:
I ste through the col
umns of THE ENTERPRISE some
candiates fur this office -which is
and should be of interest to tbe
voters of our grand old county of
Martin. I and many others ask
the voters of this county that when
looking over the field to find a man
of age and experience—one who
will be sure to look out for his peo
ple, and the good thereof to the
best of his ability. One whose
ability is equal to and abreast with
the times. We find all of these in
the person of K. H. Salsbury, whom
the majority of the voters of our
county know—it is he who has
served us so long aud so faithfully
on the Board of County Comtnis
*iou''ts. lu him we find a life-long
Democrat, one who has fought the
battles ot tbe past' as few others
have-under all circumstances.
I have lived by him for over
thirty years. He is what we call
a simon-pure Democrat, a high
toned gentlemen. In the light of
all of ihese facts, we think that we
would do wt'il aDd could not do
any better, therefore, we advocate
R H. tor the Legislature.
August 16th. 1912.

that Robersonville is steadily, safe

The Majestic Range
Housekeepers were greatiy in
terested last week in the demon
stration of the Majestic Range at
the store of the Hoyt Hardware
Company. N Mr. Gorman, demon
strator, gave in detail every con
venience and superior qualities
both in heating and dmabily of the
metal which forms the make-up of
tbe range. There have been and
are ranges in town, but the Majes
tic is true to its name— towering, as
it does, above all other makes in
the United States. Tde one special
feature which recommends it to
people who use other makes, is
the full size of the fire-box which
can be eastiv adjusted to use cool.
The strength of the metal from
which the rauge is made, was
thoroughly tesled in every way.
It was demonstrated that a five
could be made and bread baked in
fifteen minutes. The price Cs6s')
is very resonable considering the
lasting and convenient qualities of
the range. Hoy' Hardware Com
pany will have the exclusive agen
cy here and will bu glad to show
every part of it to customers. A
kitchen equipped with a Majestic
Range will uot be a place of drud
gery but where work is a pleasure
in the preparation of delicious
viunds. Every housewife would
appreciate one as a gift from the
man of the house.
A Letter

CouDly Commissioner. Therefore,
I want you to place their names as
candidates in your paper by me
