Va., Thursday, June 6 at 7 ocloek, when Miss Margaret Boswell de came the bride of William Ware | Palmer. Miss Boawell is the daughter of« Mrs. Alice Leclair JefFress Boswell and the grand daughter of the late Captain Thomas Jeffrt-ss of Cl.ase City. Mr. Palmer is the son of Dr. Je?;se Gary Palmer and Mrs. Palmer of Opeiika, Ala. The ceremony was performed in the Baptist Church Rev. H. T. Williams officiating The church was decoratfed with American flags, ferns and grow ing plants. Miss Gladys Hester played the wedding march and Robert Iverson Boswell pang "Constancy" just before the ceremony. As the wedding party left the church the "Star Span gled Banner" was played. The bride, who was gi.en in marriage by her uncle, Mr. Clar ence A. JefFresH of Kinston, wore a gown of white beaded georgette with a veil of tulle caught with orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. The only orna ment was a pearl necklace, an heir loom in her mother's family and always given to the first daughter marrying. Thomas 1) .Jeffresand Alonzo H. Jeffreys of Kinjton, small cousins of ilie bride, weal ing white suits and carrying American flags, preceded t e bridal party. Mrs. N. Kdwards Adamson of Purtsm mth was matron of-honor and wore her own wedding grow of white c&'pc meteor and lace. Mi# Rosalie Bryant Geer of Brooklyn was maid-of honor and wore rainbow tulle- They carried bouqetjof lark spur, corn flowers and field dais iep.
