show. Margolis Bros. & Brooks have
been busy securing the very latest j

event, which will occur as a part ofj
the Roanoke Beauty Contest.

that no effort or expense will be

beauty contest the best.
The Roanoke Beauty Contest closes j
"Saturday, October 24. The young la- j
dies from the varions districts who |
have received the greatest number of
votes will on Thursday night in the;
Strand Theater, Williamston, foe the
ones from whom will be selected the
queen of beauty.
A very interesting musical has been
arranged for this time so that the]
people of this community will have a
wonderful night of entertainment. The '
judging of the beauty contest, the!
fashion show, and the musical.
