Local and Personal Mr. and Mrs. Cordon James and children, of Norfolk, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Gurganus for the week end. Miss Annie Louise Crawford, of the Macclesfield school faculty, was the guest of her mother, Mrs. Fannie Crawford, for the week end. Mr. William A. Ellison, of Belhaven, visited relatives in town Saturday night and Sunday. Mrs. W. Henry Crawford and Miss Jean Watts left this afternoon for. Dunn to visit Mrs. Fannie Godard. From Dunn they will go to Raleigh to visit Mrs. Hicks. Mr. William Cape hart, of Avoca, was a visitor in town Sunday morn ing. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Peel, of Belhaven motored over from Belhaven Saturday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Cherry. Miss Nach&mnon and Mr. Kadis, of Goldsboro, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Margolis and Mr. Ir ving Margolis at their apartment in the Tar Heel Building Sunday. Miss Mildred Darden, of Keftly, Miss Orene Holioweil, of Edenton, Miss Lucy Ivy, of Scotland Neck, and Miss Olivia Bridges, of Rich Square, all of the local school faculty, returned Sunday night from their respective homes after spending the Thanksgiv ing holidays there. Misses Myrt Wynne and Beulah Adams, of Washington, and Messrs. T. Gray Cobura and Boxy Horton, of Plymouth, and Mr. Lee Rawlings, of Norfolk, motored to Raleigh Sunday. Mr. John Henry Edwards, of Ra leigh, spent the Thanksgiving holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Edwards. Miss Helen Lowerstein, of New York, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Margolis. Messrs. C. D. Carstarphen and C. D. Carstarphen, jr., motored to Ham ilton Sunday afternoon. Miss May Dell Wynne and Mr. Herman Bowen attended the union ef the Christian Church at Oak Grove Sunday.
