Local and Personal Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Crawford and Mrs. Carrie Biggs Williams motored to Tarboro Tuesday night to visit Dr. E. Morrison, who was hurt in an au tomobile accident. Mr. Reuben Keel was in town yes terday. Mr. A. T. Lilley, who has been ser iously ill for some time with pneu monia, is able to be out again. Mr. W. G. Hardison was in town yesterday. . Misses Martha and Esther Harri son and Messrs. Stanley Sessoms and R. L. Coburn attended the show in Washington last night. Mrs. Hubert Morton ana little daughter, Katharine, have returned from Kinston, where they visited rela tives during the Thanksgiving holi days. Mr. R. W. Small, of Washington, spent last night in the city. Mr. R. P. McKenzie, of the Sin clair Oil Co., visited Windsor and Au lander yesterday. Mr. Julius S. Peel spent several days of this week with Mr. Frank Hitch in Pantego. Misses Thelma Brown, Laura and Rita Norton and Myrt Wynne, and Mrs. Buck Capell, and Messrs. Jack Biggs, Frederick Hoyt, James Griffin, Earl Wynne, Raymond McKenxie, and Frank Carstarphen attended the dance in Robersonville Wednesday night. Mesprs. H. M. Stubbs and Theodore Hassell spent Wednesday in Washing ton and Greenville. Mr. Reginald Burrell, of Murfrees boro, and Richmond, was a business visitor here yesterday. Misses Mildred Darden and Bonnei Gurganus and Messrs. Robert Turnei Gilliam and Clarence Rhea, jr., attend ed the show in Washington last night Mr. and Mrs. Frank Margolis, Mist Helen Lowerstein, and Messrs. Third Department of Epworth League Entertained r The three other division entertain ed the third division of the Epworth League, of which Miss Mary C. Lig gett is leader, Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Watts, jr. Miss Leggett's divi sion won in a contest for best pro grams for two months and were hon ored with a supper. .The home was prettily decorated in holiday colors for the occasion.
